Reviews and Ratings
I had a mixed experience at the Home Place Guest House. The location is excellent, being quiet yet close to Thapae Road, but the facilities left much to be desired. The rooms were reasonably priced, but the cleanliness and service were significant drawbacks during my stay. Overall, it's a budget option that could use improvements, especially in maintenance and staff attitude.
I found the Home Place Guest House to be a decent budget option with a few pros and cons. The price is incredibly low, making it a good choice for a short stay, especially given its proximity to restaurants. However, the cleanliness and noise levels left much to be desired during my visit.
The Home Place Guest House has a lot of potential with its budget-friendly rates, but my experience was overall quite disappointing. The noise levels were unbearable at times, and the cleanliness was severely lacking. On a positive note, the price was very good for the area, and the location was convenient for exploring Chiang Mai. However, I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable stay.
I found this hotel to be a solid budget option at only 400 Baht a night, placed conveniently close to Thapae Road yet still relatively quiet. The cleanliness was acceptable, and I appreciated the small parking area for motorcycles. However, the lack of a lift and limited English TV channels could be improved.
My stay at the Home Place Guest House was really unpleasant. The rooms were filthy and had a flea problem, which made resting impossible. The noise from the neighbors and the plumbing issues were very disturbing. Unfortunately, the overall service was lacking as the staff didn't seem to care about the state of their establishment.
